I love Jim slowly discovering what his "perfect type" is. Love all the little realizations and lack of enthusiasm for what he would once have tapped with little thought, but mostly I love that Bones is both the cause of it all (having asked the question that started it) and the cure. ^_^
And OMG... you made Bones/Karl's exact shade of hair so gorgeous and appealing. I feel almost like I had a Jim moment... I liked the vague "it's dark and dramatic", but never thought about the exact shade until now. Very nice.
Best part of the whole thing, though, was this: “All those years, all those women, those men. All that time, and my perfect type was you. Just you.” Because.... awwwwwww! Such a statement of fact from Jim and yet it has so much meaning packed into it. Love. Love. Love!!! <3
Oh, and teehee on the "expressive eyes" thing, Bones! Since we all know Jim has very expressive eyes. ^_^
