Yes it's that time again folks, where you feed my addiction by giving me small fic ideas.
Try to remember that I do LOVE my Trek and my DOOMTREK too. So be creative with Pairings...challenge me.
I need to get back in the groove.
Remember....Reaper loves you.

Date: 2010-02-01 08:44 pm (UTC)Heh, I just read an excellent story where Reaper, and Bones weren't the same person, instead Bones was a descendant, and REaper the family secret. It was way cool. Reaper was gonna check Kirk out because of Bones' obvious crush.
Apparently the twenty fourth chromosome doesn't breed true, but what if it did when combined with another potential carrier with a close enough g-nome. Reaper had enough trouble following his own bloodlines down the centuries, what if he lost track of one of Samantha's. Jim Kirk has that same spark, the blond hair, and blue eyes as his twin used to have. Reaper is thunderstruck when he finds out that Jim Kirk is a direct descendant of his beloved twin, and amazed, and suddenly protective of Jim Kirk, not just his great grandson. What if the boys have a kid, and the kid is immortal, and strong, and destined to be John Grimm's forever mate. What if... I could go on, but I don't want to hurt your brain. Good luck to you, love your writing. -SB

Date: 2010-02-01 09:27 pm (UTC)Jim Kirk is one of Samantha's descendants. Reaper's always kept an eye on the family, so he decides to enlist as Leonard McCoy when Jim goes to StarFleet. Course, he wasn't planning on falling in love with is many-times great grandnephew. Cue angst. But with a happy ending. After all, they're not *that* closely related. Bonus if Jim's heard family stories of great-uncle John but didn't believe in it until he finds out about Reaper!Bones.

Date: 2010-02-02 04:02 am (UTC)So, you know all those TOS episodes where this or that alien spore/radioactive thingamajig/plot device of the day makes people go crazy and chaos reigns? And how people in those incidents often end up crazy-violent? Right. So. Lets invent an alien spore that makes Spock (and Spock alone) go nuts, because of his unique hybrid physiology or some such thing (also, please not Pon Farr... that's so cliche). Right. So Spock goes crazy, Spock gets kinda violent, and the crew can't subdue him because of his super Vulcan!strength fending them off (oh noes). Cue Reaper!Bones and his superhuman!strength to the rescue. Except Kirk witnesses his amazingness and wants to know what's up. And of course Spock is looking for an explanation after the fact, too.
You can take it from there (if you like). As for pairings, Kirk/Reaper!Bones is wonderful, but I'm kind of fond of the notion of Kirk/Reaper!Bones/Spock as well, especially with this idea. Take your pick.
Also, possible bonus points if the whole subduing-crazy-Spock thing involves a misunderstood compromising position(s).
